All our decision making is based on the assumption that the world is fixed-determined. The picture we carry is the one from the famous Robert Frost poem about the fork in the path and the path not taken.
This is the view that the choices you make are limited; that the outside world determines what happens to us; our lives; our destiny.
This is the world we see through Matthew Arnolds ‘darkling glass’; a turbulent world, dark and out of our control.
There is an alternative view
This is the standpoint that I create my world. My life is generated by what I paint on the canvas. This is the path of creation. I/you/we create who we are.
To live this way requires clarity. You must be clear about the life you want before you can direct your will to the thing you desire. We need clarity to create who we are.
The focus of this blog will be becoming clear. I will touch on the aspects and tools you will need to become clear in your life, your career, your business. Clarity is a life long pursuit. It is often difficult and painful as humans are wonderfully adept at fooling ourselves. I have been a systems person my whole working career. My job has been the effort in difficult endeavors to cut through the chaff and make clear what is being done, created or designed. I am bringing this expertise to give you the tools to become clear in your own life. I appreciate constructive comments especially questions on which you would like guidance.
