What are your usual thoughts when you first wake up? If you are like most people you are either worrying, thinking about what you have to do, thinking about your kids or complaining to yourself about how much you have to do.
How often do you think your first thoughts about who you are and what you see yourself giving to the world? The world of clarity to desire is about opening your perception of yourself. Who am I? What is the significant, unique thing about me that I bring to the world? What can I do (think, feel) today that gives me more insight into who I am?
These kinds of daily questions lead at some point to the big question, “What is my desired outcome for my life?” For most of us that question is too daunting at any given time. If, though, you ask the daily questions about creativity, contributing and feeling the good of your day eventually the big question of your whole life becomes possible.
So for grins tomorrow when you first wake up see what comes into your mind. If they are the usual thoughts gently ask a simple growth question as I’ve suggested.
Have fun with this!
I love this “first thoughts about who you are and what you see yourself giving to the world?” I have never thought about doing this first thing in the morning. Great idea and thanks
Cliff – honestly, my first thought is “what time can I crawl back into this bed”. Sadly, we don’t put ourselves first as often as we should. We need to regain that control that we’ve given away.
Thanks for the idea
