Begin at the End

As you have gathered by now the first question of systems is “what is my desired outcome?” Another way we say this when we are planning actions is to start with the end in mind or the desired outcome. So we always have in our planning what the end result we desire is.

If this works let me ask a simple question that few of us ever like to contemplate. We are finite beings. We live 100 years if we are lucky. The simple question is,”what is your desired outcome at the end of your life?” It is hard to consider our own end. I think the question has much benefit for the life we have to lead and the way we lead it.

Looking forward to your responses.

The desired outcome of my life is to have lived well, loved my family the best I can, and to have believed God’s Word to my utmost. Anything else … doesn’t matter.
