Yesterday’s post was about the amazing journey based on a clearly defined outcome. Today I’m posting the map of the journey back from Babylon to Greece. Enjoy.
Ok so, I have no idea what this means as I have not studied this history. So, to be creative I googled “the journey back from Babylon to Greece Xenophon”and this is what I came up with “Xenophon accompanied the Ten Thousand, a large army of Greek mercenaries hired by Cyrus the Younger, who intended to seize the throne of Persia from his brother, Artaxerxes II. Though Cyrus’ mixed army fought to a tactical victory at Cunaxa in Babylon (401 BC), Cyrus was killed, rendering the actions of the Greeks irrelevant and the expedition a failure.”
So, is this the right path?
Sorry Cliff, I did not see your post yesterday, From the map I can see that there must have been a real long journey. I must admit my ignorance in ancient history as I have no idea of the event you are depicting in the map.
